I really want this to happen. In all seriousness, I think this would be great. Why hasn't this happened? Buddy cops, detectives, I don't care. Someone make this happen!

How much of that came from football?

I really WANT to like it. Because I do love Josh Holloway so very much. But, damn, it was hokey. Mr Holloway deserves better than this. Put him on "Person of Interest" if you have to keep him on CBS.

Oh my goodness, Day 2 is my birthday. And that lineup is phenomenal. Coachella is only a 2- 2.5 hour drive for me. And I have family in Palm Springs. Oh, it almost makes me cry how amazing this would be for a birthday.

I looked twice there. Especially since Bono/Edge were in Palm Springs last weekend and mentioned they'd be interested in playing Coachella

Yeesh, this is all kind of depressing to me. For what it's worth, none of my mid-30s female friends would ever discriminate against a guy for being 40 without ever being married. I mean, we're all in our mid-30s and a handful of us have never had a serious relationship.

I'm in roughly that age range and in a similar situation. I've been in this city for about 10 years now and have been pretty much ice cold in that time. Before that, I never really had much in the way of relationships. I was an overachiever in school, always taking on way too much. Never thought I had much time for

And yet "Southland" turned out approximately 1000 times better than any of the cop shows NBC has subsequently tried out. I'll be forever grateful to NBC for cancelling it.

I believe you mean "white men". I am quite happy staying in the decade I'm in, thanks.

This is somewhat expected, yet I am still disappointed. I was very much hoping this would be a good show, if only for Josh Holloway's sake. Damn, he was so good on Lost. Why can't he get a good part? What more does Hollywood need?

Wow, was TED really that hard to get? It came to me instantly, and I couldn't think of anything else it *could* be. I've really been cleaning up recently getting FJ correct while most (or all) of the contestants get it wrong.

I can't wait to see PBS edit that short scene out!

Apparently they understand that people in different countries all enjoy the same big movies. But, even US film studios have started releasing big films in Russia a day or two earlier than everywhere else to try to head off piracy.

I feel for you. I really do. We're living in some weird transition period wherein entertainment companies are still pretending the internet doesn't exist. The amount of money they are losing to piracy & illegal streaming is crazy.

I watched it. Yay internet! Boo PBS.

Really? That is interesting. I have to figure at some point the executives will figure this out and find some way to legally offer this stuff to meet the audience demand. But, the music industry didn't figure it out, so who knows?

My God. That would make me love it even more!

I am very glad to learn this information. Which, of course, I will not be using either. Thank you.

Are In the Name of the Father and Roman Holiday available anywhere but Netflix? If not, I am definitely watching them tonight.

Congratulations!
