The quidditch scenes are really boring on screen, no doubt. They are slightly more interesting in the books because there is usually a lot of plot going on, we follow the games all season, there are multiple games, etc. There are genuine stakes to them. And we see them all strictly from Harry's POV, so they are much

On Christmas I saw "American Hustle" which I didn't really like.

I was very happy to hear the fake applause for Southland. This reel was obviously shown in an alternate universe where people actually watched Enlightened and Southland. Maybe Fringe's alternate universe, where people didn't like the depiction of their struggles on Fringe.

I always thought it was sort of a "Most Popular Dead Person" contest.

Fringe seasons 2-3 were some of the best sci-fi I've ever seen on television. I am quite surprised to hear someone say it was the Alt Universe that turned them OFF the show. As that was the thing that made Fringe so cool to me.

That movie makes me so mad. I mean, I understand that the main plot of the book is Harry and Dumbledore examining memories of the past, and that isn't exactly cinematic. But, there's kind of no point to the story without that, right?

I'll play!

Really? I have "Journey to the End of the Night" on my list for 2014. Maybe I should try to finally get to "Ulysses", as well. Which do you recommend reading first?

No, I'm with you. I actually read My Antonia for the first time in 2012, and I was kind of bored by it. Her descriptions of the landscape are very good. And I think I actually felt cold while reading it. Which is saying something considering I live in Phoenix. But, nothing else in it really grabbed me. I felt like it

Yes. Absolutely. Flawless acting from Pitt and Casey Affleck. And Deakins cinematography was stunning.

I'm sick. I've been curled up on my couch feeling sorry for myself. But, oh dear, did that DeGrasse-Tyson graphic make me laugh. I think it gave me a worse headache, but oh well. It was worth it. Cremaster Cycle and Manon of the Spring! Fantastic.

They have the last 2 episodes. Certainly not what one would need in order to catch up.

The original game-related gift memory is still the strongest. My favorite was when I was a kid and got original NES. And I got Legend of Zelda with it. Well, technically, me and my younger brother got it. But, he never liked video games. I, however, LOVED Legend of Zelda. I played it for hours. It was my favorite

Rebecca simply HAS to be working with/for Hagen. There is no way she's not. She asks way too many questions. She was way too accepting way too fast of Neal's criminal history. She is too eager to join in on the theft.

No, he got a few solid episodes. Plus, those two where he fell in love with the Enterprise computer simulation of Leah Brahms, and then had to meet the real woman in the follow up. I'd say he probably has about 5-6 decent episodes.

This is beautiful. Thank you! I, too, nearly cried laughing.

Oh, I ended up liking the Ferengi episodes quite a lot more on rewatch. But not this one. Its reputation is completely deserved.

Don't the Romulans allegedly have some device like this? A neural probe that removes information directly from the brain?

I was going to suggest they were too ignorant too realize that stuff would happen. But, as often happens, I think Cookie Monster has the right idea.
