Ah, it was just as wonderful as I hoped. Sometimes I really like working from home.

Unless said scene is meant to be parody.

Oh dear. I am going to spend way too much time reading those, aren't I?

I, too, work from home. So I wouldn't at all mind that link.

At first I read past it. Then my brain caught up. Best line in the piece?

And finally there is a reason to like 50 Shades of Grey. Sean O'Neal's last two Newswires about it have been perfection.

Same.

This is the one of 2 series which I have ever illegally streamed. I just couldn't wait for PBS to broadcast season 2. Plus, I hate the way PBS edits it. So, basically, I didn't want to wait for USA Netflix to get it. And I will probably watch these new episodes illegally as well.

What made me hate the Irene Adler depiction so thoroughly was the drippy fascinating with Sherlock combined with the reveal that she didn't come up with the plot herself at all. She was doing it on instruction from Moriarty.

I liked the portions of A Scandal in Belgravia that were scenes between Sherlock and Watson. And also between Sherlock and Mycroft. Utterly despised what they did to Irene Adler. And I am trying to wipe that coda scene from my memory entirely

Do I even want to know what a bacon butty is?

I laughed, but then I realized this is probably a real thing somewhere on the internet.

Scrubs may have had an inherent advantage in that they were shooting in an actual hospital.

I love Chandler's Marlowe novels. They are brilliant. I, too, think they could translate as very modern. In addition, I also rolled my eyes at "sexy and stylish" as well as "Castle showrunner".

This sounds awesome. My Egyptology professor in college instilled in me a great love of ridiculously goofy stories set in ancient Egypt. If this airs, I hope he live tweets it.

Pens vs. Leafs could be a good game. I wonder if Center Ice is still on free preview from DirecTV.

It looked so bland in all the trailers. Then I felt a small bit of hope when Assange started ranting about it. I figured if he was that upset then it must be interesting, right? But, all the reviews seem to indicate not.

Best Newswire photo of 2013.

I, too, am nearly convinced that I won't be able to watch it. I had a similar question as @avclub-60b08acc1f3a4db4ff5f01c9fd828776:disqus mentioned. Is the film good enough to overcome how awful I would feel after seeing it? Assuming I could even make it all the way the end, obviously.

Finally, I want to say that I love this What Are You Reading Q&A so much. However NuDisqus makes this awful to read through. "Click here to load more comments"… ARGH!
