Joke’s on you, Tom. This was quite obviously an actual tryout for the Nets.

His form is to basketball as his music is to music.

Original Six in scare quotes is making me giggle. It’s as if you’re saying they weren’t *really* part of the “Original Six.” Your comment is a very dumb comment.

the “semi final game,” huh?

Now playing

Yeah, and if so the producers should face felony charges, no matter if the protagonist or antagonist reacts with violence.

If I had to guess, I would say that what you mentioned is a big reason these things tend to happen in places like New York/Chicago, same as those videos you see online of people dressed in clown costumes with axes pretending to murder someone and then chasing after a group of people. Since the laws there prevent law

It’s comforting to me to see so many others in the comments here who share my unfavorable opinion of the show. I really don’t see it as any different than Punked or similar hidden-camera prank shows, but because it’s run by a news organization, it tries to be above all that. The whole idea of misleading someone for

Yeah. A lousy TV show screwing around with peoples’ feelings and wasting their time and money should be criminal.

Shit, you mean if I’d read the article I would have found out about the dozens of five year-olds she’s delicately poached and consumed atop a bed of wilted greens? That’s one hell of a buried lede.

I am crazy or is this another instance of using ‘trolling’ where it should be ‘trawling’?

I guess you missed the part about the ambitious internet starlet wannabe that not only has an ABC producer but also doesn’t understand how exploiting people is wrong.

I agree they owe him an apology, but this sounds exactly like how their show operates. It’s garbage television, produced by psychopaths.

What if he were a porn set janitor? I bet they make the big bucks.

I know it sounds bad, but I'm waiting for the day one of these shows does some kind of fake kidnapping or assault and a bystander pulls out a gun and shoots the guy. Its probably why they don't do these shows down south or out west much.

It doesn't sound like it was outside of their normal operations, though. From the author's description, everyone on the crew and working in the restaurant thought it was funny or at least OK. They didn't sound at all uncomfortable by the fact that they were behaving like assholes.

They would probably consider that a bonus for ratings.

So. Fucked. Up.

At least they aren’t showing the episode and it’s a semi-happy ending. Jess is a starfucking asshole.

Bias or not, I don’t think I’m wrong re: the historical significance of that particular game.

This seems like a pretty lazy and judgy argument among many legitimate points.
