I’d honestly take OSU over Bama right now. OSUs defense is one of the best in the country and Alabama looked like doodoo against Auburn. I think both would/will lose to Clemson though.

By your definition there isn’t a single conference that’s elite and that’s fine. The Big 10 is as good as any other conference though, they are all top heavy. The SEC being probably the biggest example of this.
