I have no doubt that this will happen.
I still say Ian's in a cult.
Yeah, I don't know why Joshua would find that line off-putting. It was classic Mickey, and especially hilarious because he could've easily just said "a cold" or "the flu" or something, and he just went straight for "AIDS." I probably would be put-off if that same line had been said by, say, Lip, or some other regular…
Well, you could resist the urge to spend your all-too-finite spare time arguing about how good-looking someone is, and instead spend it on something slightly more constructive, like FarmVille.
I wanted to make a joke about dinosaurs probably having had some great sitcoms, but backed off because of Dinosaurs. Then I went for cavemen, and backed off because of Cavemen. That's a true story. And a cool one!
It's generally an "empty calories" kind of show, for whatever reason, but it is very enjoyable, and Le Blanc is very good on it. And Kathleen Rose Perkins is hysterically funny to me.
Agreed. They got way too carried away with her whole Type-A thing, and just general meanness.
I think all his answer really meant was that he doesn't watch the show.
That one was a significantly more believable for me, in an "opposites attract" sort of way, especially since it didn't really last very long, and she wound up falling for the much more compatible Ross.
All The Queen's Men
"Ach! Das ist nicht eine boobie!"
In America, first you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the NBA team, then you get the cable network, then you get the TV show, and there are probably also some women, sooner or later.
Meanwhile, I want a spinoff about Bostwick, Keach ,and Stockwell's characters just fucking around like the Hipsters from Community.
Not gonna complain about seeing more of that face. I really liked her character, too. Got just enough development last season to get me interested, especially in the scenes with her father; though I would hope for significantly more next season.
Well, as rarely as CC seems to re-air the show, I doubt I'll catch it a second time, but that's good to know. Maybe they'll be super-cool and actually put it out on DVD. Failing that, I guess I'll have to make do with some sort of streaming service.
I do like Ilana, and I don't fully agree that she treats him unfairly, because we don't really know what his expectations of their relationship are; but yeah, he does seem to be kind of a saint, so he does deserve better. The heart wants what it wants, though.
God I almost forgot about him smashing into that car door. That was perfectly executed.
This wasn't the funniest episode yet, but it definitely felt like the most special. A highly mobile bottle episode. And of course there were some really big laughs, too. Lincoln stopping to take in the majesty of Grand Central Station, the runner with Morgan's brother, Ilana's balance-dancing, the marriage equality…
If she just styled her hair a bit, natural Dallas would be a fox. But man, that plot was pretty upsetting. Especially with the feet, and the ending with her forcing her foot back into that high-heel. Lisa's plot was kinda upsetting, too, come to think of it. Physically brutal, emotionally brutal.
Oh it's definitely a trope. I can't cite specific examples, but I've definitely seen it several times; enough to recognize how this plot would end immediately upon Tessa meeting male-Tessa.
