He said at the end of the SXSW episode that the sequel would happen "at some point in the future," so it sounds like it'll be awhile.

Yeah, that "I guess so" was the highlight of Daly's segment to me.
I agree that the Aukerman-Mantzoukas part was the best portion of the episode, though I don't know if it was the self-referential stuff that brought down the Daly part. I have a hard time figuring out exactly why, but I have a pretty strong distaste for characters with high-pitched voices. Li'l Gary, Frank Stallone,…
Yeah, I think that's what I meant about Carl. Point being, I think he was a pretty lousy character in the early days, but he's become a lot better recently.
And shave your fuckin' muff!
I'm apparently the only person who was surprised by the roomie's girlfriend screwing around. I guess the disgust-to-lust thing is a bit of a trope, and often catalyzed by the whole "responsible for children" thing, but yeah, I didn't see it coming. Real bummer, at any rate.
So, my satellite keeps crapping out at least once an hour, so I've yet to see a full episode of Shameless this season, and thus this theory may be basically ruled-out by something I've missed, but is it possible that Ian is in some kind of cult? That line about having "met some very interesting people" or whatever,…
I was kinda hoping she'd become a Maris Crane kind of wife character, somehow, but I don't know how practical that would've been. Maybe something where she left to live in Europe or something and broke up with him by letter. I don't know. Something a bit more ambitious than just killing her off.
My default impression of these showrunner folks is always that their talents lie largely in selecting and supervising a good bunch of talented folks, and that they're probably funny themselves, as well, but only when it comes to writing; not really improvising or performing. But Hurwitz seems to be very good at all of…
I wasn't really expecting there to be another one of these high-concept episodes so soon after the lava-floor episode. I enjoyed it a lot, though. I think I might not fully appreciate it until I watch it a second time. It seemed especially ambitious in terms of the parallel plots and how they interacted.
So what you're saying is Chicago's going to be destroyed by the Borg in next week's episode?
Glad I'm not the only one. Especially now that Leslie's out of City Council, Jamm is a lot less irritating to me. And that hospital brawl he started was probably my favorite scene this week.
You've lit'rally taken the words right out of my brain. Like, verbatim, with that last sentence.
I seem to recall that happening on-screen a while back. Possibly when they abolished animal control and rolled it into the Parks dept.
I really liked that line where she said, "I just wanted you to have a tiny moment of happiness before you were crushed by all this bad news," or something to that effect. I thought Leslie should've said, "Awww," after that, but I guess she's losing her ability to suppress her job-related frustrations and appreciate…
Pretty sure it was, yes.
That hospital melee was the highlight of the episode for me. A well-orchestrated, very funny scene. Ron was very funny again, and I love that we didn't have to spend an episode on his baby's birth or anything. John just suddenly exists, and that's a very nice and in-character difference from your average sitcom.…
Spot-on.
That comment was originally a list of like a dozen places, but I thought it might defeat the purpose of this question to list them all. I think being free within these places and exploring them in a game, as opposed to just seeing them in a movie or whatever, really increases the appeal of seeing them "in reality." A…
I should've thought of a Warcraft place. Pretty tough to argue against Khaz Modan. Actually I wanna say Teldrassil, but those elves seem like they'd be pretty unwelcoming, so yeah, let's go with Khaz Modan. Lots to see there.
