After three weeks of solid ratings, I don't think NBC's looking to burn off Community. I guess a reality show would be the better idea for that timeslot, though; good point.

'Cuz it's new! And you're a big deal around here! And I haven't noticed it ever change before. And yours was one of the more notable avatars around here for me, because, in its tiny version, I always used to think it was Brendon from Home Movies, even though I knew it was actually something else. It had a whole…
I hope they give Awake a shot in a different time slot before they can it. I hope the good critical reception is worth something.
… And what does that have to do with anyone or anything being discussed here? That's a very different type of misogyny from the one that's under discussion in this review, and I don't think anyone here has claimed that any women are misogynists. The invocation of "the 'm' word" regarding Karen and Lizzie, etc., is…
Why not just a couple more comedies? So we can go Community, 30 Rock, Office, Parks and Rec, Up All Night, and… either Bent or something new.

@avclub-7065e286d0939354f46b11340b75c51b:disqus I've always felt just a little weird about how much I love the music from the book-burning scene in Last Crusade. Lens Flare VI: The Undiscovered Contrast Setting
I thought it meant "a whale's taint."
Yeah, my best friend's a pretty avid Trekker, and he hated the idea of it when it was in pre-production and stuff, and harped on the same "dumbed-down Trek for non-Trek fans" points that I'm seeing here, but by the time he saw it, he liked it a lot.
I think it's a matter of expectations. No one expects a D&D movie to be good, because no D&D movie ever has been good. But Trek has had several films that are pretty widely agreed to be good, so it seems like more of an offense when newer ones aren't good.
I ship with FedEx. We're deeply in love.
Aw man, really? I got Beronitta. Can I see your work?
