Sounds like the writers may not have outlined this merger arc well enough before writing it.

I really liked Skip's tantrum.  That was impressive acting.  Didn't much care for anything else that happened this week, though.  However, I do have a question: did Marty specifically seek out Marco's daughter?  Or did he just bone a bartender who miraculously turned out to be Marco's daughter?  My impression was the

I was just happy to see Hank and Marcy together again.  They do have a great rapport, and it's a bummer that we haven't seen more of it during this season.  I think she said something in their conversation like, "I miss the hell out of you when you're gone," and I thought, "But you've only seen him, like, one other

For me, "misogyny" is something of a no-no word, in that it's used very frequently (overused, I think) to attack shows, movies, games, etc., and tends to kind of derail relevant discussion of plot and character just because someone was wearing a short skirt or the camera lingered on someone's cleavage.  It just feels

Pierce: Before AIDS, sex was like shaking hands.
Abed: Hence, AIDS.

Don't know what's with all these haters coming out of the woodwork here this week.  It's a very good show if you're able to appreciate it for what it is.

Karen cheating on Hank actually does ring a tiny bell.  Like, she thought he was cheating on her, or he had become so "mutated" by the LA lifestyle that he just didn't seem like himself anymore, and she was ultimately the first one to actually cheat.  I may be making that up, but since you mentioned it, I do seem to

For real.  These people have some fucking short memories.

Fiona was the one that said the baby had Down's Syndrome.  Also, the head doctor in the room was Asian, herself, so I think she would've corrected Fiona's mistake if it had been a mistake.

Talk about constructive.

Very happy to be rid of Marco and Estefania.  It was a hella quick resolution, and really it seemed like the better twist would've been for Marco to die in that container, but whatevz.  Estefania was funny when she was making those offhanded Portuguese comments on the phone about the Gallaghers, but since then, she's

Hm, well I also like Bender's Game, so there you go.

I would like to live in a world where fifty Sashas of Grey exist.

Best banner pic and alt text ever.  Sadly that's the only thing in this article that I even remotely care about.  Man, why is Monday TV so goddamn lousy?

@avclub-bb2b98e0ee639c2cc29a4b92cb8ba58e:disqus Can't be that cheap to make, can it?  With animation of Unsupervised's quality, and a largely "name" cast.

That's fair enough.  I guess the "I believe you call it love" line was what really made it a groaner for me.  A bit too on-the-nose.  He didn't need to say go into colloquialisms; we all knew what he was talking about, and the initial description is so much more in-character for him.

Van Der Beek!

I liked a lot of this episode, but the stuff September said about love and whatnot… ehh.  It's really hard to not groan at that kind of non-scientific cop-out.  "Love lifts us up #WhereWeBelong"?  Whatever.  I guess Fringe is exceptional, though, in that it can do one of these "big answer" episodes and it still ends

This show gon' be gooooood!
