He also did well in his recurring role on Unites States of Tara.  Though I imagine the Riches gig involved a bit more acting.

-At which point did you orgasm, Mrs. Badcrumble?
-All through it, it was multiple!  It hadn't been invented in the 1480 war, but I got there.  On a hang glider.
-You're fucking nuts!

I've had a meeting with the marketing department of Rome.

Yes, the shorter sketch length is one of this show's biggest strengths.

I could kill this show with a tray, if I so wished.  But I'm curious to see how it'll play out.  The idea sounds terrible at first… um, first ear-glance, but I think it may not necessarily be terrible.  And Eddie Izzard is a good sign.

Did someone say "long-lost triplets"?  (Guest stars Emily Deschanel and Katy Perry)

Well, the Key and Peele entry does come with the stipulation that viewers should watch the encore showing of Justified.  Me, I prefer the Cougar Town, Justified, Daily, Colbert, fuck around on the computer while Tosh.0 runs in the background, THEN Key and Peele. In any event, they can't "top pick" the same show every

OOZE OR GTFO.

Pessimistic history buff says: Boositania.
Pessimistic film buff (Gene Shalit?) says: This show looks Baddleship Potemkin.
Optimistic Tobias Funke says: Would that I could Queen Marry this show!

I prefer Speed to Die Hard, but I prefer Die Hard With A Vengeance to Speed.  Can't provide much in the way of reasoning, except to say that With A Vengeance was the first Die Hard I saw, and its predecessors were really underwhelming by comparison when I saw them later on.

And he's so cool, and great at seemingly everything he does.  Donald, that is.  It's sad to think he's unhappy.  I'd certainly hope they (and you all) are wrong about that.  Dunno about critical readings of his lyrics, but I don't know if an addiction to workahol is necessarily indicative of some deep-seated

Good points about Fiona.  I wonder if it's just this season that she's been missing stuff — which might suggest that the failure of the whole Steve thing distracted her and "broke" her in some way — or if she's just always had certain blind spots like that.

Those kidz and their ninjaz and bitchez.  Little rascalz!

Costa Con-bored-ia.

Why, that may be the zingiest title I've ever heard!

Ah, thanks.  Yeah, I don't think that comes off terribly judgmental or anything.  He doesn't know her opinion on the matter yet, and he probably assumes that she's likely to be of the common opinion that pissing on someone is gross. Especially being that she'd been screaming for a solid minute prior — which, what was

Jinx.

Thanks, I wasn't sure I was remembering that right, or if I'd heard it right to begin with.  And yeah, I don't think they're really that similar.

Did the deaf guy die at all?  I wasn't clear on that.  But yeah, if he did die, then I think it was, at most, an assisted suicide thing (giving him the crackpipe).  And so was Granny Gallagher, really.
