My older son used to bug his brother about his “fake fact file.” He’d have a field day with you.

Also, it was a damn fine movie. I’m very glad I didn’t read the review and decide not to watch it. Although I was quite disappointed more of it didn’t take place in Boston.

Canada was glad to be quit of him but somehow he keeps popping up on Canadian TV and now all over the internet.

Same. I’m Canadian, so some of the British (and even more, the Australian) stuff flies by, but usually I’m able to fill in the gaps, and even missing things he’s brilliant. This one, every panel was gold.

While it’s more about Emery and Ozil, today’s Squires cartoon in the Guardian did include this gem of a panel:

You should also check out One Magic Christmas with Harry Dean Stanton. I recall having issues with that one as well.

With a tuition starting at about $8K a year in KY (not DC or NY price, I know, but still...), I think this is the sort of kid who ends up in some position of authority, because meritocracy.

This far north BBQ season is over. So we may have some supplies tucked in a drawer somewhere.

Sorry we burned down your White House. Sorry. Sorry.

De Bruyne is back now, has been for awhile. He’s not completely match fit yet.

Both teams were sloppy, especially early on. Nerves and pressure from their opponents, I imagine. Liverpool were happy to absorb the pressure: they were well-matched in the midfield for most of the game, and the back line, if Lovren were more disciplined, would have not had serious trouble. When Klopp made the change

The satisfaction of low expectations.

Yup. I’m a Liverpool man through and through, but neither goal was offside. Lovren was bloody awful, not at all prepared for dealing with a high-octane team.

I only managed 60 this year, which is down. And I look at your list and see I’ve seen 124, which tells me there are lots of holes to fill. Part of me admires your ability to take he time for this, and part of me cringes.

Now playing

No, he turned his head just as he made contact. The same thing he very often famously does.

I picture a black fire ant yelling this.

That map is a serious burn.

First thing I said to my boys after Firmino’s first goal was it had to be a no-look goal. Love it when he does that. His second goal won’t be a Puskas nominee, but maybe the Gunners D will qualify for some sort of Keystone Cops award.

If a middle-aged white guy can offer a suggestion, I’d vote for The Fifth Season. Fucking brilliant, and I will be diving into the other two books in the trilogy shortly.

Yup. That’s why I said CE3K.
