It’s a goddamned religion and obsession and some days it more than wearies me. That said, I was in Regina a couple weeks ago and saw the new Mosaic Stadium, and it is stunning.

SI did a good run of pieces a couple of years ago.

Hey, another guy from Toontown.

Yeah, one of my son’s soccer teammates has been scouted by the Hilltops to be a kicker. Apparently he knocks off 50 yard FGs with ease. And he’s also built like a brick shithouse.

I live in Sask now, and the local fans always drive me nuts (although I do admire their passion). So I did find some humour in that 13th man issue that year.

Yeah, I grew up an Esks fan, so have always had an ABC (Anyone But Calgary) attitude. They sure tried to squander it this year, too, though.

This was another in a long but irregular line of Grey Cups that make the Super Bowl look, well, not so super. I mean, not every year, but you can usually make book on the Grey Cup being more of a thrill fest. Sometimes for the wrong reasons, but still...

Communist African-Canadians didn’t fit on the logo.

Yes, although Simon Fraser in Vancouver made the move to NCAA D2 a few years ago, in the GNAC. And a milkshake. But I’ll be making my own, thank you.

Thank you. And FWIW, Canadian health care does not pay for dental, vision, meds (in most cases). Custodial care is bare bones.

Check your calendar.

Is that because there’s a copay with Medicare? The whole copay thing really threw us when we lived in the US, and were so glad we had excellent coverage through my wife’s work.

Not even CGI. He was a cop in a photo on a poster in Luke Cage.

Google is your friend. I, too, was unsure. Turns out (unless she was a member of the Undergraduate Engineering Society), she’s from the Upper East Side.

Just the other day I listened to this great radio documentary about this story, with a very odd Canadian connection.

As opposed to a certain somebody who is stupid and orange on the outside, amirite?

No kidding. I was just thinking if NYFC was playing the only complaints would have been it’s too wide. “Can we move in the touch lines to make throw-ins a little easier, too?”

But nothing about French or bilingualism? I hope you’re embarassé.
