Just in case anyone was curious: the original comment ApostleO made was very reasonable, to-the-point, and most importantly based on specific, technical criticisms of the app and its performance. He wasn’t saying “omfg look at how dumb these dummies are” or anything blatantly trying to force an “us vs. the evil

The whole thing was a huge PR blunder on NolanT’s part. Banning someone just because they’re criticizing your platform looks a lot like censorship. Also, never piss off DnD fans. They’ve got the documentation skills that lawyers would envy.

I don’t think he denied them. The whole “I’ll call you out publicly on social media” does seem like an expected response though, because well he did after NolanT responded back with further escalation.

I’m not sure Corey’s response was completely entitled because in all honestly are we really sure he said that? Anyone working so hard to clamp down on criticism of their own community I don’t feel should be considered a trust voice. Plus Nolan’s recap of what happened could be skewed especially if Corey said, “I’m not

All hail the Trisolarians!

Uh oh...

One theory is that what we’re seeing now and how we’re experiencing Game of Thrones is Sam telling the story of Game of Thrones.

“You’ve had three days to see the movie”

The way that you are defending it makes it crystal clear that the article’s title was a deliberate attempt to drive page views by people upset about the embedded spoiler.

Hey, maybe if I wasn’t normally such a fan of the site that I follow it on Twitter and Facebook so that the spoiler title had an extra two chances to do its work, it wouldn’t be such a big deal. No reason to be a dick about it, particularly when the article doesn’t exist for any reason other than to be a spoiler.

Hey, thanks for the fucking spoiler right in the title.
