All of that and add snow/sleet/ice and road salt getting all over the sensors, plus crap cell/GPS signals I don't see them working for most of the year in Canada.

Just grab a kerosene heater, or wood stove... Ahaha

Hahaha. Nice

I just thought it was weird that only one side was doing that.

Not as slippery as a pair of dress shoes. Not that I have done it often but when I have driven with bare feet I haven’t had any problems with any of my three pedals with slippage. Maybe scoot the seat up a bit to compensate for the lack of sole. I don’t know, maybe some cars pedals and some people's feet are slippier

Then put them somewhere else? That I agree is dangerous, same as putting anything in loose near the pedals. I just don't think bare feet are inherently dangerous to drive with.

I do like changing my summer carpet mats for my winter ones though. Truthfully I like the opposite better, but I don’t know, it just signals the season change. Switching tires, doing a good cleaning of the car and making sure my scraper and blanket are in there.

I have crap in the back of my Matrix right now and I can attest. Thinking tomorrow when I switch my summer carpet floor mats to my winter rubber mats, I’ll put the summer mats in the back. :P

What is dangerous about driving barefoot? I think flip-flops are more dangerous then bare feet.

What was up with the brake light blinking off on the “driver” side, and where are the side marker lights?

If you don't like the content or the writers why do you read the sites?

Which is dumb. It should match the address for registration of the vehicle. In Ontario Canada your insurance, registration and licence all have to be the same address, unless it is a commercial vehicle then you need commercial vehicle insurance.

I will admit now that this is a bit disjointed.

I’ve been thinking for a while “why the hell aren’t we sending prisoners to mine asteroids by now?” We really need to figure out this whole space thing sooner than later. I feel that humans need to keep spreading to exist. We can't use up Earth.

I was thinking that too!

Exactly what I was thinking.

My first car was a 1994 Jetta that had a loud subwoofer in it. After an accident I was driving it for a bit without the rear bumper cover on. Those flaps were quite entertaining when I had the bass pumping.

Maybe the wheel bearing was just the tip of the iceberg. I have had situations like that before... Look into replacing a wheel bearing or something not too serious, notice a cross member is getting pretty rusty or start seeing more things that could go wrong in less than a year and call it. Sell it as-is or scrap it

What if along the same lines as Torch’s Disney Cars universe, we specifically breed chauffeurs that were bio engineered into car beings that could drive us around where-ever we wanted? No pesky sensors and computers then.

So is a parsec. That’s what Han Solo says in the Star Wars.
