Also, he points out constantly that he interviews people he’s personally interested in, and that he’s not a journalist. He’s just an actor and a person who would like to have a conversation with someone he’s interested in. Not everyone can be an insufferable blog writer.
He’s had an extremely successful podcast for years now on which he interviews celebrities and asks them various questions about their careers. This sounds like a natural progression into a video format. But, snark? Why not!

I saw a bad quality version of this clip before and thought, “Hmm... I wonder if this kind of slower paced film making will be able to connect with kids.” Seeing this much better quality clip, I can now see the amount of detail put into every frame, and it’s riveting. Can’t wait to see it.
