I remember reading about that trip in those Mustangs, as it was also documented in Hot Rod magazine. Those 2 orange ugly Mustangs from the trip were made from REAL GT500s because the guy running Equus said it gave his cars extra pedigree and that X factor or something similar.

I would actually say that the dark-green/brown and black Taurus police car looks kind of bad ass. Certainly better than any blue and white livery I've seen them sporting.
