Ugh, drum brakes. I had no idea they were still being installed on new trucks, especially so for top of line models. Crazy. I have rebuilt an engine, done timing chains on a Ford mod motor, all your standard repairs, pulled a dash for heater core, and still I have not & have no plans to ever touch drum brakes :D

Just because the numbers are dropping doesn’t mean Ford would abandon 200,000 sales. Also keep in mind the competition has stepped up recently, so Ford will get more sales after the upcoming redesign.

CP. It’s a nice truck but not $15k nice. If I was spending that much, I would just get a used short bed Ecoboost and have a much more usable truck (more bed space) and be more comfortable.

I don’t know much about the guy, but I imagine he is a decent chum who isn’t anywhere remotely as annoying as the character on Top Gear. Who wants to pay ~$100 to rotate tires every ~8,000 miles or after every track day? Rotating wheel/tire combo is one thing but doing tires is another.

100% agree on square. I guess it is slightly better than different sized tires front/rear, so you rotate tires... just not very easily or cheaply.

Probably not, but it would likely look goofy as the front would stick out and rear would sit in. From the photos, it looks like both wheels fit very well, like most people shoot for with aftermarket.
