That’s not even remotely true.

Well wait until she hears how disappointed you are.

It’s a comparatively minor issue, but boy do I hate those Justice League costumes. Superman’s is too dark and I hate the textured look; I think the suit should be in bright shades of blue and red and be smooth. Wonder Woman’s isn’t too bad, but needs some colour. Batman’s outfit is too generic and bland. Cyborg’s look

I’ve always wondered why DC felt such a strong need to establish what is in or out of “continuity”.   Marvel generally just pretends stuff it wants to ignore never happened and uses a sliding time scale to paper over stuff that doesn’t add up.  But feels like whenever DC decides to go in a new direction they instantly

Nothing of value will be lost by wiping clean the current DCU state and starting over.

Snapping Zods neck was a good thing for the character, it was the sign of a good villain to take the hero the to extreme.

See: The Mummy

Uncle Ben wasn’t explicitly mentioned, but when Peter was talking about how he didn’t want May to find out about being Spider-Man he obliquely referenced him with a line that was something like, “It’s already hard for her with everything that’s happened this past year.” It was the MCU’s version of saying, “hey, you’ve

I know that this is a minority view, but I really, really hate the rainbow of rings.

hmm.

The version I saw had him devastating a city — the sort of thing that had consequences in the MCU, spawning the second wave and still echoing now — and snapping Zod’s neck. It certainly felt like a low cost knock off.

The assertion that Johnson somehow “thumbed his nose” at JJ Abrams when he made The Last Jedi is still one of the most bizarre things I see in these arguments. He... picked up every plot and ran with it? Like, maybe people saw a different movie than me - and I’ll admit that I’m a bigger fan of Last Jedi than a lot of

I’m just saying what I thought the moment I saw him tell her that on the screen, so when it turned out to be a lie I wasn’t surprised at all.  It may not have been planned that way but anyone trusting a Dark Side user to tell the truth about anything hasn’t been paying attention.

::reads thread and assorted gripes::

People don’t remember how strikingly original it was to include a bleeping robot as a sidekick in a hero’s journey fantasy epic in 1980.  Titans really broke the mold on that one.

There’s a moment in “Showdown at Cremation Creek” where Phantom Limb has just finished explaining via on-screen communication how he’s crashing the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend’s wedding and intends to kidnap her.

One thing I think about Shore Leave is that he’s not the only gay character. There’s also the Alchemist and Colonel Gentleman. So it’s not like the show is saying “this is what all gay people are like” - there’s also a magical schlub and a genteel adventurer to balance out the stereotypical depiction (which as you say

I really feel like “The Doctor is Sin” should have been included in this list.

Plug time:  I just got the newly released “Go Team Venture!” book that Dark Horse put out.  It’s essentially a chapter or two of the pre-history of the show, followed by an episode by episode breakdown with interviews with Hammer and Publick and a bunch of people, followed by a chapter of ephemera, but it’s REALLY
