I didn’t think her accent was very good; but it is a little strange since she is an American playing an Ausie in a New Zealand setting in the first series. Still her performance is strong enough that I can ignore her accent being not quite right, like Elizabeth Olsen in WandaVision or Peter Dinklage in GOT. I like the

Well some of that observation comes from my general comics knowledge but it is also right there in the text of the show. Agatha is a witch; they are all witches, that happened 300 years ago and Agatha is still around.

She just absorbs their magic. They were already old; without their magic they couldn’t hold their age at bay anymore.

What happened to the days when you actually had designers doing; you know, design on the network? Now its all greige flip fodder and kitchens so white the glare can be seen on the moon 24/7. Not that much of the design 15-20 years ago on the network was that good, but I’d much rather see some failed attempts at design

In her defense she’s taken many many blows to the head.

That’s the point of the Punisher; reminding Spidey and DD what is too far.

Age of Ultron also said they were the only 2 of many the survive the experiment. So perhaps the experiment awoke their mutant powers as opposed to create them. The others died bc they were humans. The snap or som Wanda related event could perhaps “awaken” many more.

The asset is Vision, or at least his raw materials.

I always thought the role of T’Challa should have been recast after an appropriate amount of time had passed. Boseman made a career of playing icons, surely his performances should have taught us that icons live on after their deaths.

As truly awful as new school AV Club writing is, it’s not Zack Snyder level awful

Not to mention it’s fundamental and adolescent reading of the pre-existing character.

The inclusion of “Ratched” for anything other than set design.

I would have recast them both and just moved on. She’s obviously a nut case. As great in the role as he was, he was great, I just think T’Challa as an icon deserved to live on after a respectful amount of time had passed.

Is that Monica’s boss at 1:05? or a new grey haired man?

Snyder really missed the synergy he’d have had with his base if he’d released it 01/06/21

Well they do show him failing repeatedly. Since its a Snoopy centric (shocking) trailer I’d give it the benefit of the doubt a little on them going full on beaten down Charlie Brown. Of course if they never hit that beat in the show it is essentially not right.

Very possible as the illusion begins to break they go thru multiple decades fairly quickly as she recreates a new “reality” only for it to break down fairly quickly.

Really nearly all fiction sucks according to this line of thinking.

I would agree with that. Even the comic strip while still good after the mid 70s really tapers off and loses a lot of its edge. 55-75 or so span being the really hot period of the strip.

Other than the music that looked strangely not awful.
