If memory serves the skulls just spill around their knees and they shrug their shoulders and wade thru them. All during a point in the movie where things are starting to go haywire. Its like a beat to heighten the danger that falls utterly flat and is just a waste of time.

I think it’s best to watch the extended editions as a mini series. They are split on 2 discs each anyway. 1 disc a night.

As annoying as Jackson’s runtimes would become I think it really takes a back seat to how bad his action instincts would become. The spiraling sequences of unlikely occurrences that would come to dominate his style destroys his action as his filmmaking went on. You can see the genesis of it in ROTK so much by the time…

I would say ep 1 was 1955-60 and the 2nd was 1960-65 ). Ep 3 clearly seems headed to the late 60s (Brady Bunch). Not like they were exact analogs; the imprecision of some of it being part of the point.

I would include the American version of “Getting On” which was really good as of course was the original British one. 

I find their 70s material to be sentimental but acknowledge it is well executed.

There’s also the issue that Ezra sucks. 

I’d have to throw in “The Trip to Greece”; “Perry Mason”; “I Know This Much is True” and “A Wilderness of Error”

I keep expecting her to be like a ninja and doing backflips in her handmaid gown shooting uzis in slow motion or something. That would have a greater degree of naturalism than whatever it is that the show has become.

Assuming bc a big chunk of their pay comes from back end points on box office.

Civil War does begin to get his personality right. 

Giving Hawkeye a family and kids was the worst decision ever. Hawkeye being an orphan and the trauma of that causing him to screw up nearly all his inter personal relationships is central to the character. 

Perlmutter-verse. Hours upon hours of super strength themed characters snapping padlocks.
