I took it as a full blown Morricone spagetti western take on the main theme with some sprinkles of Les Siciliens.
It very much is A Serious Man. Just when the hero finds a new beginning (New Testament) the judgement of god comes in the form of a tornado (Old Testament).
Why hasn’t Clyne been arrested. Seems the have plenty of evidence on her equal to Mack.
The Vow cuts out nearly everything that would also indict everyone involved in that series. There’s a reason Keith talking about raping babies et all didn’t make the Vow cut bc all those people didn’t leave until years later. It soft peddles the criminality of the acts involved and (wrongly) assumes the story is the…
I was surprised to learn it was still on the air.
10 years ago he’d of been ok as Him so long as they were going with a silent no dialogue take on the character. Don’t see any other Marvel character he’d be good at.
The iconography of the first Universal Dracula film is awesome but the film itself very less so. Universal’s 3 really great iconic horror films are the first 2 Frankenstein films and Creature from the Black Lagoon. Visually stunning.
Glad you see it now but it’s been painfully obvious to me since the 70s.
It was pretty infuriating that the it took 7 hours and 50 minutes of that miserable slog before the guy with the footage finally uttered on camera “maybe I was stupid”. It is nice that the documentary would give some sense of voice to the personhood of the victims (see the Michelle McNamara doc on HBO to see that done…
Dear god. This thing is 5-6 hours too long already. Clearly the guy that brought all the footage to the table got final cut on the series. One would have hoped his footage monopoly ended by the trial.
Season 3 just suffers from following the brilliant Season 2. It also is top notch.
So Raven is just a mall Goth now?
This is heartbreaking. They were probably 8 episodes away from some sort of conclusion if given the chance.
Yeah; all that stuff is complex and very precise. Just why I was wondering. I have heard speculation that Marvel had rights to Jessica Drew for example but could not release a movie called Spider-Woman sorta like their Hulk and Namor rights. But all this stuff is pretty convoluted (resisted calling it a tangled web).
Really? They have live action rights to Spider Gwen? Created 15+ years after the deal was signed? Just having the name Spider does it? I know they have animation rights. Seems it may be more complicated than that. The Fox deal supposedly had a long specifics list that named characters not just “any character who…
What even lady themed Spider characters do Sony have the rightS to make a solo movie about?
Any cucumbers for that word salad?
Just get him working on his Dr D0om again. If you can get him to set still for a few minutes.
Yes. Dear god. Cancel the show. Problem solved.
