If you are an Objectivist and you like “Watchmen” I’m not sure you really understand the source material or they revel in the presentation of people who hold their beliefs as sociopaths.

Aardman I think had a cultural moment that to take the next step in exposure they needed to tamp down their Britishness. They politely declined and good for them. They are the best.

They really should pitch the Netflix continuity. No problems if they want to keep some of the same cast if they won’t to do real MCU versions of the characters later. 

Ironically Daredevil is actually less realistic when you deemphasize his super powers the way they did. 

Too many episodes, too many shows, too slowly paced, wallows in their violence & little visual interest. Superheros aren’t Beckett, they need a little spectacle. Super strength lock breaking quotient not withstanding.  

This clip works bc there is no voice. Usually modern Warner Bros voices sound like your uncle doing a pretty good impression of the character but it kills the momentum of the cartoons. Not the only reason of course. I will admit this guys Daffy is pretty good.

I think most the old ones were just a shade under 7 minutes.

Coffee and Cigarettes has about 30minutes that are good (with maybe 10 min being in the range of the best of his career) and an hour that is either a noble failure or outright bad. Probably near the same ratio as Night on Earth.
