She’s a weird hull - I’ve had a chance to become extremely familiar with her, and she’s “interesting.”
Zumwalt is actually quite slab sided - The house is raked, but the hull is about as slabbish as one can be.
This class are actually known for being serious pigs in the wind, and to lose the bow thrusters very quickly with headway, and he was HOT coming in. He had to try to put on the brakes, and control everything all at once, and it just got away from him once the wind got him.
