They’ve already had that. This gives them nothing.

This may not be to your liking. The SP you have access to is the same as the max available to a new alpha clone when not subbed.

Character progression was always behind a paywall. It’s currently pay to play. For those that aren’t paying you will soon actually be able to log in and play a portion of the game’s offerings whereas you couldn’t before.

How does it become pay 2 win by giving non-paying players more than they’ve ever received before?

It’s a bit more than the WoW free till 20 offer. Markets and such are open to use and no areas are locked off, but the ship and mod selection is severely hamstrung. There are some good options present, but a lot you’ll be missing.

Minor correction, someone else is paying for your time and you’re giving them in game currency in exchange. It’s basically legal RMT and CCP still gets paid.

Eh, “couldn’t be more different” seems a stretch. There are some directly mirrored mechanics forming the gameplay core: checkpoints for leveling/saving, regaining XP after death by reaching the point you died, stamina management, player tailored leveling of specific attributes, light/heavy attack pair at their most

How could you not bring up the souls games? There probably the best point of comparison given the strong similarities and direct mechanical parallels.

If you’re not willing to state your point then you don’t have a point worth making. I’m certainly not going to try to find one for you. I already related it to the initial statement about Durara alongside the statement about subliminal messages and punctuating on the idea of white supremacist messages.

I thought the conversation was about poor characterization of black characters and you using Simon in Durara to support that.

Going back to the “Grand Wizard” example allow me to ask: Given those words have entirely legitimate meaning both individually and when brought together other than as a reference to a place in a racist organizational hierarchy does that mean all words we’re not sure have such connotation should remain unused?

Not sure I can agree. Having watched it its pretty clear he’s a competent, insightful and dangerous individual who puts on an act because who he really is wouldn’t draw customers to the front that is the sushi shop.

Who’s money are they taking? The only money they got was from those who agreed to the TOS. Possibly ignorant of the potential consequences, but that’s not Blizzard’s fault.

Looks like the character’s slayer skin. Seems pretty on point to me.
