"Achingly sad comedy".
Yeah, that's modern German cinema for you. They promise you a comedy, but unless the trailer features a shit ton of shots of people getting hit in the balls or something like that, you can be sure it's basically a super depressing drama, with a few laughs inbetween. (See: GOOD BYE LENIN, JETZT

For some reason I even remember what Conan said when Andy was away, shooting that movie.

They are still recovering from #OscarSoWhite. They don't want to risk an #OscarSoRapeCulture.

Honestly, I think what REALLY kills the medium is the modern audience's inability to actually enjoy things and how they prefer to be all snarky and "too cool for that shit". Not saying that we should forgive and ignore bad movies and plotholes and shit, but if the rise of nitpicky asshole snark clickbait lists and

But kicking and punching really isn't his strongest ability.

1.) So is Sheamus from what I've heard (and also several others), but he still isn't a jobber

It wouldn't be that much weirder than I.R.S.

And I would love it!

Nothing beats KEEP ON SUCKING!

But a few months ago they had at least a chance to actually feud with others, even with The NEw Day and the instant audience darlings Enzo & Cass!

Still wonder what happened to the Vaudevillains. Yeah, I've heard the story of Gotch being a loudmouth behind the scenes, but that can't be the problem. Was it Enzo's concussion? After that it really went downhill for them.

The SciFi plot was definitely the best part (The scene where they contact Earth 2 was even something that I would consider one of the biggest goosebump moments in modern movie history!), it just felt completely disconnetected from the boring soap opera main plot (except for a half-assed "What if you could live a

It's not even bonkers. It's just a boring mumblecore drama (complete with shaky out of focus cinematography on AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOMEVIDEOS level) about a woman, who falls in love with someone, based on a lie she tells him. In a few scenes there is a completely irrelevant SciFi subplot and then it ends with an

Nah, Brit Marling landed a while ago on my shitlist, thanks to her co-sripted, completely unwatchable, mind numbingly stupid pseudophilosophical Lifetime movie with useless SciFi subplot mumblecore debut ANOTHER EARTH, so I guess I will stay away from this one.

Pew…Diepie? Who's that? What is that? Is he one of those Apatow comedians?

Well, they really don't make her look like a good person, but unfortunately it seems like the show wants us to think that she is awesome because of that. It's like a gender switched period piece ENTOURAGE.

God, I hated the pilot for this so much. It was just a cheesy, old fashioned (in the worst possible way) soap opera that used the worst pseudo-feminist cliches to turn the protagonist into a hero!

I'll wait for Vern's review.

I would guess that all those unsolved plot threads and not appearing characters are actually a comment on "serialization", since unsatisfying endings with too many lose ends dangling in the air are a common problem of "the golden age of television" (and of course already the age before).

What's a Nubian?
