I call it the "Firefly Effect".
Although honestly, I don't love Firefly. But I really hate the fans! Same goes for Blade Runner. Also modern day Trekkies seem to be super whiny bitches who hate everything. I like Star Trek.

Hey, life is too short to wear clothes that you don't like.
Walton Goggins is one of the few people who actually look like their name. If I would create a character named "Walton Goggins", I would cast an actor that looks like him.
According to a recent (as in one or two hours ago) Facebook post of Smith, he is out, because he thinks it's wrong to sue the people who made the movie, instead of working with them. (In the same post he also mentioned how the BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS story was blown out of proportion and he never really planned to…
It may have flopped 30 years ago, but the home video releases that came out afterwards, where obviously huge hits.
If it won't go EXACTLY through the centre, it will be better on one side of the earth. 0_0
LOST and 24 were my picks too, although I don't wanna say "never". Maybe once I have kids, I might introduce them to these shows. (I wanna raise them as human beings, who appreciate old music, movies and TV shows.)
Here is its unnecessary sequel.
I liked the first one enough to say "It was okay, I guess", but I never understood the cult following it had. The only scene I remember, was when he went to the guy whose girlfriend he stole and allowed him to beat the shit out of him, because he deserved it.
The teaser for part 2 does nothing for me.
I laughed very hard when he made in 2008 or 09 that album, where every track was sung with that super distorted autotune and he went on late night shows, telling everybody how he discovered that effect and nobody else used it before.
Would be cool, but just like with the NES (and the Game Boy) I still own one with lots of games and they are all still working (and looking surprisingly good on a modern flatscreen TV), so I don't need it.
Since you mentioned Charlotte from PRINCESS AND THE FROG: I love the scene, where she throws a party and Tiana has an accident. I (and I'm sure everybody else) expected that dumb, blonde gold digger to get mad and yell at her friend something like "Why do you have to ruin my party!? Now I will never meet my prince!",…
And they do it well! But in season one, the dialogue sounded way too often, as if they tried to convince us, that every word was made up on the spot and they didn't do any second takes.
Yeah, even today you get the occasional WTF joke, but they never went and most likely never will go as far again, as they did in season 1.
Not to mention the millions of "Fatboy Slim Remixes". (I got one from Beck's LOSER, that also uses samples from MONTY PYTHON'S HOLY GRAIL. I wonder who really made that. It's actually pretty good.)
If it was in German, it was "by" J.B.O. (A German comedy metal band, that also likes to make parodies of popular songs) and if it was Techno, it was "by" Aphex Twin. (Although I always knew that this bouncy Disco House version of the Star Wars theme wasn't by him.)
I remember that from the ol' Limewire days. Ah yes, ye olde times of songs from unknown musicians, that were (purposely?) mislabeled as songs from somebody else.
For me it's the two you named and Super Metroid.
25 years ago. I'm old. So old.
I really hated around 75% of this show's first season. From the painfully pseudo-improvised sounding dialogue, to the constant "Oh look how EDGY WE ARE! But not too edgy. Actually we don't know how edgy we are yet. We are scared" humor style switcheroos, that sometimes gave us jokes or full episodes about animal…
