They are fun, like action movies are fun, in terms of fictional content that shows lots of people getting murdered in horrible ways, but while being chased by a guy with a mask and a knife is damn scary in real life, it's not scary at all in movie form. On the back of the German DVD, the movie is advertised as PARODY of those ultra conservative rightwing propaganda bullshit, that it actually is. I suspect that they might have changed some of the dialogue in the dubbing, to really turn it into a parody, but I didn't bother to rent it.
