I thought this was way too extreme the moment I saw it on Reddit. Why not just filter out ALL the emails, and whitelist the ones that you want? It'd be better than this method since there are many different scam artists who just send you emails claiming to have millions of dollars under your name, which,…
Office? Definitely. There are way too many features in Office to cram in a tiny little menubar. Explorer? No way. I don't think I've ever actually used the buttons up top on Windows 7; why would I want even more buttons?
I just lock the computer (Windows+L).
Nah, I think they just happen to have the same background and similar customization software.
Depends on the sort of flash drive you have. If it's your regular old plastic kind, probably not.
It's funny, because disabling ABP actually does make this site's comment box work. I have the feeling the devs did something to make using ABP on this website a pain.
If you're willing to shell out money, dbPowerAmp is the go to music converter for Windows.
I mounted a router under the table. No overheating issues, since the vents are on one side anyways.
Just FYI, an alternative is another app called AirDropper, previously featured on [lifehacker.com]

Kinda hard to write on the chalk board.. with all that computer tech in the way.
Ah, sorry. I guess I missed that sentence. The information in the Switched article that you linked seems very much blown up and generalized. For example, user-specific information can mean a lot of things. From the SRWare website itself, it seems much more benign. Moreso, a Chromium blog post describes the information…
Except this device is significant smaller and more easily concealable. If you see someone walking around in a parking lot with a baseball bat, you know something is up. If you see someone with their keyring, you'd hardly suspect anything. Just saying.. ^.^
It's there for me. Are you using IE8 or something? Because I think Microsoft only added the location API is IE9.
The reasons you use Chrome? Doesn't seem like it from what you wrote in your original comment. 'I tried Chrome for a decent time' 'There are a good number of commenters here who don't agree with you about Chrome - myself included'. From those two comments, it seems pretty clear that you don't use Chrome. As for the…
Well, if you need me to spell it out for you, here you go. This post isn't 'a troll,' and your argument for why Google Chrome is inferior is total bs.
I just checked; the locate me button is available on IE9. I haven't seen a major Google product only support Google Chrome without a good reason. There are a few Google made extensions only for Google Chrome. However, it is not Google's obligation to create extensions for other browsers. They have open APIs, so a…
I happen to use a chat client, so I can just put it on the side, and resize Chrome so that it takes up the remaining space. Similar effect; just a different way of implementing it. Main bonus is that vanilla Chrome can be slightly more updated than Rockmelt/other mods.
