I agree, Firefox has much better customization options that Google Chrome. However, when I use Chrome, it feels like everything there was just made for me. No, I don't want to make the background color of the toolbar purple. No, I don't want multiple rows of tabs. No, I don't want to make the buttons colorful. It's

I just tried it, and TMZ does take a while to load. My favorite thing about Chrome is it's multitasking features. For example, while waiting for a website to load, I can switch to my email, check it out, and then open a few more tabs before coming back to the original tab. In my experience, you cannot do this with

I read this.. But unless Internet Explorer is solidly better than Google Chrome, I'm not switching. It seems that most people are happy because IE is no longer outdated and seems to work OK. Sure, it's making progress, but it's hardly catched up.

Here it is: but it'll probably get butchered by LH commenting system h t t p ://google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&btnI=1&q=%s

Because Apple has a longer approval process.

He's just complaining that he hasn't gotten an invite yet.

That's a good point. It could be the extensions. I only have a couple that have access to Lifehacker. None actually specifically state Lifehacker, but there are a couple that have access to all websites. I'll go through them at some point or another and try to see what the problem is. However, I don't have this issue

My desktop is called terminator...

I still can't comment in Chrome unless I paste something in. And even then, if I press enter for a new line, the comment box just seems to lose focus. The only way to add another line is to paste it in, but that's generally too much of a hassle for me.

The version number's in Chrome hardly matter to me. In fact, I never actually know what version I'm running until I check the about page. I just know that I'm always running the latest developer build.

I just have my default search set to Google's I'm Feeling Lucky. Therefore, I can just type in the name of anything and it brings me there (whether it's dot com, dot net, dot etc). In addition, some of the less established companies have URL's like "razerzone" rather than just "razer" because they can't afford to

As a developer, I understand the advantages of displaying what the extension accesses, but sometimes, it can get very annoying when users complain about the usage history. Google seems to make everything extensions access sound more serious.

I like [xkcd.com] better. If only companies read XKCD..

Except some websites limit you to 20 character long passwords. Or worse, they truncate it automatically for you and don't tell you.

So true. That's why I like OpenID/Facebook websites. The only problem is that a lot of websites try to use that easy API as a way to get unneeded information about their users. Ex. Connect via Facebook. [Some App] needs access to your email address, the ability to write on your wall on your behalf, etc. And they never

You can also access your entire LastPass vault online from their website.

It could still work for me. I mishear lyrics all the time :P But I have my own method of creating passwords..

So true. As easy as: 'Cute pet! What's his name?' on a Facebook photo of their pet.

Ultimate solution right here!!

Ummm.... Isn't that what gallery view already is?
