Yes it does. And to their point GTAV is the bes example of how successful this type of games as service idea can be.

I switched TO Chrome from FireFox last year because FireFox was such a memory hog. I have a half-dozen or more tabs open at one time and it was using 500MB or more. Chrome right now using 350MB.
I hear they upgraded FF to help with these issues, but I’m going to stick with Chrome until it gives me issues as I’m not…
“The receiving player must maintain full control of the ball from the initial point of contact all the way through CTE diagnosis.”
How about it runs like shit on my 6+? Everything opens a little slower and when I go back and forth between apps it doesn’t keep where I left off and has to “reboot” the app way more often than before.
I would say the referees sealed the loss with a stupid penalty when two guys were just screwing around a little.
So if Alex Nichols says it sucks then that's final…..well I grew up in the 80's and I loved the book so i I just wait until the movie comes out before taking the advice of some other persons take on it…. plus I'm guessing Mr Nichols didn't grow up in the 80's so his comments are irrevelent to me
Yikes! What a hater! The book was fun, relax. Not everything has to be The Brothers Karamazov.
I..I..kinda..liked it? There were certainly cringeworthy passages, but I got a kick out of some of the more obscure references. I think it's entirely possible to make a fun film out of it, after resolving all of the licensing issues of course, and rewriting all the dialogue.
Counter-point: a dude literally wandering from town to town in search of his son, fighting to stay alive in a shitty world not of his making, is actually not a bad use of the song at all.
2015/2016: Hollywood/Oscars so white!
I feel like you could have boiled this whole article down to:
They may be good books, but the core concept is just not really something I want to invest time in, especially when there are so many other series and books I haven’t gotten to that are much more appealing to me. Kirk’s description only reinforces the descriptions that I’ve heard of it and even your praise…
I really think that this whole series is best treated as a single volume, told across three publications. While I really enjoyed the first book, it features with only a couple exceptions really shitty characters being terrible to one another. Quentin is just the worst, a really hate-able character. There are points…
What’s to stop a rival player’s friend or family member or business associate sitting at home from calling in tips on their competitors constantly? If we’re talking about such minor infractions, you could seemingly call one on just about every other player in contention given enough time and focus. With $150,000 on…
Rumor has it the cheerleaders were also part of a pyramid scheme.
I’m not scared of Pewdiepie, I appreciate what he represents and am fascinated by YouTube in general, which is why I report on it. That said, as much as I like some of his videos, couldn’t some of your criticisms of old-school media apply to him/YouTubers as well? “grabbing onto any story they can to stay relevant”…
Of course Kotaku won’t admit it, and will be on the side of the media (for obvious reasons), but the media who attacked Pewdiepie are scared of him. They actually do want to bring him down because the media are scared YouTube is taking over. They’re slowly dying, and they’re grabbing onto any story they can just to…
Don’t think this would appeal to a broad audience. Not to forget that you’d have to “upgrade” existing cards or get completely new ones. Then you’ll also have to carry the equipment with you etc.
