I was behind one yesterday, and couldn’t help but think...Man, that thing is straight up ugly.

Was it the price that was too high, or was it the people who designed the exterior that were too high? Because with half a century of actually elegant, rugged wagoneers to draw on, with a brand that is locked into its own traditions like star wars fanboys arguing cannon, y’all created an uglier escalade.

Whenever I see one of these on the road, I’m always floored thinking that someone paid 6 figures for it. The chrome trim is atrocious and looks gaudy and cheap, like the car smashed through an autozone accessories aisle on the way out of the factory. 

I plan on enduring the next four years the way I did the last time he occupied the White House.  My liver will take another beating, though.
