I feel like the illegal part wasn’t the paying, but the promise to pay (in exchange for registering to vote for “someone” *wink*).

My friend’s neighbor has a yard sign that says something like “I’d rather vote for a felon than a jackass”. It’s shit like that that makes you just want to give up sometimes. How can you help people who are working so hard against their own interests?
