1. Calling these Chinese automakers’ systems “Autonomous Driving” is factually incorrect. They are no more autonomous than Tesla FSD or GM Supercruise. These are level 2 ADAS systems that require continuous human supervision. Go read the wired article and see the discussion of the flaws.

I would argue that if a touch screen gives someone difficulty they shouldn’t be allowed to drive anymore, but give those people a button to press in order to talk to a person for verbal order entry.
