Agreed. If you’re not upbadging, why is it cringe to give the car the name it had in its domestic market? If anything, the Acura -> honda example is DOWN badging. Its not meant to impress you, that’s literally the point.

I agree with some of the foreign badges,especially the KDM “Klexus” badges. I have a Stinger that came with the KDM badges on it.
