Yeah this doesn’t bother me in and of itself.  I had an ‘04 GTO that I had designs of Monaro-ing but never got around to it.

Same here. I grew during the JDM boom and this was a regular thing when people were building JDM spec cars. This was actually when the OEM+ style started to become more popular and people started to get away from bodykits and neon lights.

I always figured these were for smokers/vapers, and being that is a Subie, probably a vaper in that case lol

Biggest and most ubiquitous offender for me are rain visors, especially when used as “performance” parts. I can tolerate rain visors on a buick Century driven by an old smoker, but most of the time they’re installed on cheaply tuned cars.

#3 is just basic budgeting. If you make $2k a month and have student debt that is $500/month and additional costs that equal $1,200/month you have at most, $300/month left over. You need to shop within a budget.

I’m not here to say any of that. But I will say that if someone had a student loan for which payments were paused, and during that time they purchased a car took out a loan they would struggle to afford if/when student loan payments resumed, I have zero sympathy for them.

I’m sorry, but if you 1) took on a student loan 2) Didn’t use that education to get a decent paying job 3) Went out and bought a car and took on a car loan during the period where student loan payments were paused that you would be unable to afford or struggle to afford if/when student loans were unpaused

1st Gear: Man if 1st world problems was listed in the dictionary LOL

There’s a few things going on here. Mopar keeps it in production for a few specific reasons, which one is to keep an economical option for fleet buyers or even as a full-size option in the mid-size price range of the its competition.

I can’t be the only one who thinks this is kind of awesome, right? Isn’t this basically peak-Jalop? Buying the cars of yesteryear that we claim to pine for, but also with a warranty?

Is it time to start implementing anti-car jacking flamethrowers like they invented in South Africa in the late nineties?

yeah sure hate on a well-engineered, affordable, practical, relatively efficient yet stylish vehicle.... weirdo

Boy are YOU in the wrong place.

The KIA Soul is excellent for young people, but their grandmothers bought all the Souls instead.

Kia Soul is an excellent vehicle for say...someone who just graduated college and got their first job. It’s also one of the extremely limited number of vehicles that still starts under $20k. The old turbo model was even pretty quick.

Man, that only reinforces the run over the perp with my vehicle strategy.

My record store was burglarized a month before Xmas and most of our best stock was spirited away.

Depends.  Insurance companies love to find reasons to deny coverage.

Suspects were seen walking out with a giant loaf of bread.
