Interesting. The chance of a problem caused by a hull failure just went up a lot of these systems work as advertised.
The thing that we are doing with the focus on the construction type and materials used is to get the cart before the horse. There are MANY ways this could have gone sideways. Not a submarine expert, but off the top of my head.
It’s no better from the rear, either!
The 5 series GT is downright whack.
The late ‘90s gave us the 316 hatchback. It’s just... sad.
Insufferable man-child piece of shit con artist.
I’m convinced Elon never had any friends growing, and now that he’s super popular with the terminally online right he will do anything to please them.
So the N-word if fine, but cis is a slur. A+ work Elon.
I’m on Reddit’s side on this. Why should they let 3rd parties do whatever they want, and present however they want, with their data? Don’t like Reddit? Don’t use it! End this stupid blackout.
I’ve never had much interest in NASCAR - but only because I prefer road course racing - but even I know the last thing NASCAR wants is to lose another driver in a crash. I can’t see them ever allowing cars to run with that much power in official races.
number 4
Eh, they’re both impressive for different reasons. If GTE didn’t have balance of power limitations, they would run away from the Garage 56 on a track like that.
I would love all of that, but add one more.. Drop the Ovals and go to straight road courses, or rovals.
It was a NASCAR Cup car (yes, modified, but still pretty much a Cup car) at Le Mans. That hasn’t happened in decades.
Just to clarify, saying that GT3 cars started as road legal is not accurate. There’s some basic core components that carry over, but GT3 cars are pretty much as purpose built racers as a Cup car is. They’re not just modified road cars.
The key here is your “built to specs” line - that’s everything.
Having Garage 56 in the race was transformational, and on many levels, too. Indeed WEC and the FIA should waste no time desiginging a new class around it, complete with a few different engine options. That would expand the WEC audience immensely and add to the show.
They should BOP the car down to GT3 levels for next year and allow it to actually compete for the class win.
Hold up, so you can’t get the tax credit if you make over a certain amount?
My friend in Brooklyn lives in a 1,200 sq ft apartment with two roommates and doesn’t qualify for the EV tax credit.
