That’s really not a good analogy. F1 teams are businesses not at all tied to a place or mascot. Sure baseball teams can be bought and sold but they don’t change hands, and therefore names, with anywhere remotely the ease and frequency of an F1 team. Only a handful of pro teams have moved in the last 20yrs, and there is 0 chance CLE will move. They have been there for over a century.

People like sports. It’s even important to some people. Most of the teams have individual principal owners and don’t randomly move around. The exceptions, especially when teams move are a big deal when they happen. The team was founded in Cleveland over 100 years ago.

This has always annoyed me. Why is it that the rear quarter panel is part of the unibody but all the other panels (save for the roof) are removable and replaceable.

What are you talking about?  I have an S550 15 Mustang, it takes like 15 minutes to change the cabin air filter.  You have to drop out the glove box just like every car I’ve ever owned that had a cabin air filter.  Pretty sure my 06 Tacoma’s was the only one that was actually easier to change since you didn’t have to…

Rear quarter panels. Think about it. You can replace pretty much any other body panel except the roof with just a few bolts. Why not the rear quarters?
