You still should have your payment under 10% of your take home, or less. So yeah, if after tax you have 100k, then you can afford an $800 payment (not more). If you have more “disposable” after that... 401K match>Roth IRA>401K max

Either TX car buyers have an average take home pay of ~$100k, or there are a lot of people who have very unhealthy financial habbits. Gonna guess the latter.
Nothing to see here. Republicans are braindead.
Ironically, had NASCAR mandated it prior to 2001 Earnhardt would have refused to wear it.
But it is necessary for the damage to be shown.
Example. I do a lot of iRacing. On ovals Aero is a big deal. If a car has a wrinkled fender they will be able to keep pace in a draft but will kill your speed if you let them shuffle up to the head of a pack. The only way to know that driver is off is by looking at their…
Because crashes do happen in racing and it is lazy if a SIM doesn’t accurately represent that damage. Especially if the IRL implications of the damage would impact handling and aero.
I don’t know what these mechanics are doing where they find it helpful. In the last month i’ve done:
Replaced Air struts. Top bolts inaccessible by tool. Bottom bolts too much torque to remove (even after loosening)
Replaced lower A arms. Bolts all too much torque for tool
Replaced alternator. Bolts inaccessible for tool
R…
How is that helpful then? Any spot where I would need help turning a bolt that is already broken loose is a spot that is already too tight for this tool to fit into anyway. I hate this tool.
My 3/8 Milwaukee Fuel Ratchet
These people are skipping tolls too. You should care. All this does is raise your road and gas tax due to the lost revenue from these free riders.
I think this is great. The cops are doing a shit job of enforcement and he is helping shine a light on obvious fraud. As far as “vandalism”. These people don’t own their plates, the state does. Fixing the plate isn’t vandalism.
As a car blog I think we should be happy this guy is doing this. It reflects poorly on ALL…
The Lemon’s Cybertruck is the closest this will ever get to a reality.
NASCAR does have a “drive to survive” type show. It’s actually very good but I think USA has done a terrible job of promoting it. I think a lot of NASCARs issue for the last several years has been a terrible TV deal and a pretty much non-existent streaming deal.
As a fan of NASCAR since the early 90's. I don’t think there is ever been a better time for the sport. The next gen car is amazing.
Came here for this. Dale’s paint is pretty iconic, but it is nowhere near the greatest. I’d give it to Gordon’s Dupont Rainbow scheme designed by one of the greatest race car paint scheme designers Sam Bass. It’s instantly recognizable by even non-NASCAR fans and really ushered in the era of modern, eye catching, made…
I disagree. It’s both handsome and an economical use of space. Would only be better if there were at least 20 floors of office or apartment space above it but that’s not exactly something Columbus needs.
What is really crazy is that Dodge used the Avenger in NASCAR for 1 year. 2007 was the cutover year from the Gen 4 car to the COT. The Gen 4 kept using the name Charger and the COT used the Avenger nameplate to differentiate it. In 2008 when they were full time with COT they returned to call it a Charger.
Yes.
The cybertruck is vaporware. Stop reporting on it.
Smokers cars. If you smoked in your car go ahead and cut the KBB value in half then subtract another $2k.
And yes, ever person who doesn’t smoke can tell your car still smells like cigarettes over the smell of 100x little trees black ice air fresheners.
