You do understand that a 1995 in good condition is a lot more interesting than a 2005, right? A 2005 is just an old truck. a 1995 is a classic.

You need to redefine “real collectors”. You sound pretty snobbish. Lookup Radwood and tell me there isn’t a market for performance 80s/90s cars.

How does that make it a no?
In 1990 you wouldn’t have spent ~$1800 on a great condition 32 year old car? For example a 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner with the 352ci V8? That is the equivalent of what we are looking at here.

Yes. I alone am the invisible hand...
$3k is not a stupid price for a nice running car. $4k is not a stupid price for a cool running car.

I feel like people voting ND are thinking in year 2000 dollars or something. The starting point for a rust free car with no mechanical issues today is $3k. Min. for a boring nothing car. Add the rarity and coolness of the SHO and 90's nostalgia trends, this car is an EASY $4k all day.

I’ve been watching NASCAR since 1991 and I can tell you with 100% confidence that the 2022 Season is the best it has been in decades. The new cars look great and race well. There is a great mix of talent from new young drivers and veterans. There is a great mix of different tracks and driving styles. The weather has

That was an awesome race. I’ve been skeptical of Bristol Dirt because I’m not a dirt racing fan and I hate losing a Bristol race, but this one may have changed my mind. I think if they switch to screens instead of windshields and standardized the mud guard it’ll be perfect.

You still have to hold the brake when sitting at a stop with a manual... Unless you live in Nebraska and have never heard of elevation changes.

This should be added to the main story @Elizabeth

I absolutely LOVED the Daytona 500 Pit Viper Car for Kaz Grala. It’s fun and irreverent. Super eye catching, especially during the Thursday night duel races. It fits the sponsor perfectly.

Looks like they had HVAC guys do the sheetmetal work:

If you use your property to commit a crime it gets seized. Not hard to understand.

The need to ditch Fanboost and a race track to their schedule. It would be really cool to see these cars at something like the Charlotte Roval.

The 42 was pretty beat up after LCQ2. They showed close ups of it and there were patches on the fenders and side skirts that were worn through. I like that the new bodies are more durable. It was good to see them pushing and shoving and getting into each others sides without constantly cutting tires. I think Bristol

I wish iRacing would prevent users from mapping non-wheel controllers for the steering input. Every once and a while you’ll end up in a street stock or ARCA race against these people and they are always a menace.

Delorean was already defunct by the time the movie was released. I don’t think they paid for any product placement

Imagine considering yourself a journalist and posting this without applying even an ounce of critical thinking.

In the Heats and LCQs you didn’t see fighting between 1st&2nd because the positions were locked into the final. It would be stupid to put up a fight and burn up your stuff. All of the first 6 races had a ton of battles for position around the bubble and there was a ton of position swapping. If you were just paying

Yep. Just like all Jalopnik NASCAR pieces, they are either all negative or just completely wrong.

Ryan Erik King is an open wheel guy, his iRacing stats below show he pretty much never gets behind the wheel of full body oval cars, so it’s not surprising his take on a Nascar short track exhibition race is off.
