I can smell it from here. A combination of cigarettes and about a thousand stale air fresheners.

Good to know. I wasn’t seeing much reported in the LR forums about the 5.0 & S/C 5.0 so I assumed they were doing well. I’m glad I’ve got the 4.4L. Just ticked over 185,000 w/o issue.

JLR haven’t had engine issues since the terrible BMW 4.2L they put in the RR up until 2006. The 4.4L and 5.0L in the LR3, LR4, RRS & RR are bulletproof.

It doesn’t look high tech. I see mechanical HVAC controls. An actual shift lever instead of a dial. Steering wheel is devoid of controls other than CC. All modern vehicles are required to have a screen so you can’t really be mad about that.

They almost had it. Just skip those stick on ram air scoops and its a nice little budget G65

You’re a fucking loser. I can get behind slow drivers being annoying, but brake checks are the kind of shit that garbage humans do.

there is nothing decent sounding about a screaming 4 banger, wind whistling around the mirrors, and tiny rocks spraying against the floorboards.

I guess it’s all relative. If you’re used to driving an economy shitbox I would bet this thing feels ok. Compared to every vehicle I’ve ever driven, this thing was by far the worst. I’m struggling to come up with anything even close to this bad. It makes a Prius feel like a luxury car.

These are garbage. I had one as a rental car to get from Boston to New Haven, CT. It is loud as hell. Zero sound deadening. It is so light and narrow that the littlest amount of wind throws you into the next lane. Passing Semis make you hold on for dear life. Maybe this is true of all tiny economy cars but this thing

Nope.

I do not like the looks of it. It’s too round. Rovers need angles. The velar looks like you took a real rangie and dunked it in a vat of wax a bunch of times until all its distinctive features were covered in a rounded featureless shape.

Leather floor mats are gross.

Yes. Cargo cover pulls back to meet the top of the tailgate

Scott Speed.

Yeah. A Range rover.

That’s exactly what this paint scheme is trying to get away from. The car will change less over the course of the season, and it will change in predictable ways that match the season and the brand. I like it. It’s way better than all those seasons where you wouldn’t know if Dale JR was going to be in a green car or a

If you put out a car that has a “Track Mode”, that track mode should also disable or increase all the thresholds to deploy safety shit. If you didn’t do that, you are intentionally f’ing your customers.
