About 20 years ago, I was working at a car rental agency in an airport when the stars of the WWF show that night came rolling in. Hogan, Roddy, Macho Man, Bigelow....Anyways, they don’t even break character when renting cars. Roddy was acting like he got the best car of the bunch, Macho didn’t like what I was giving

Accurate.

The new Shelby GT350 will absolutely DESTROY a new M3/M4. Ford announced yesterday that a GT350R is as quick around Grattan Raceway as a 991 911 Gt3 and is 1+ seconds quicker than a Z28 (which is quicker than just about everything else), and that a standard GT350 is as quick as a C7 Stingray Z51 and a 911 Carrera.

I was at the grocery earlier and got some Newman’s Own Sockarooni spaghetti sauce... looks like I know what I’m having for dinner!

You don’t have to go all the way to the M3 to find a BMW isn’t worth the money.

It IS damn fast...I was a passenger in one and it was amazing! Not refined like a European make...but your face quickly became a part of the headrest upon hard acceleration!

I bet he will commend the handling and performance but will complain that the interior/overall package just isnt as sophisticated or something, i.e. that its interior isn’t coated in baby seal leather and its not as silent as a coffin or something ridiculous...

I love that line “The m3 is twice the money, but its not twice the car”

Personally, my hope is that the really rather fast version of this:

The day this happens. Ill be one of the people screaming, DOWN WITH THE M

I have a feeling this will trounce bmw handily. And will challenge Porsche. It may not have the finesse. But I bet it’ll be damn fast.

shoulda used the digital air pressure gauge?

Kill all the old 911s. They’ve had their time.

By the looks of him, he'd probably enjoy that.

A good 911 shell is a future 911 race car.

Can we just knock off a little of our debt to china every time they do this shit?

They are also much more than a styling feature. There’s a good reason it’s shaped like an accordion at that point. It needs to act like one.

This is shot with much lower end equipment, probably doesn’t have any color grading/correction, and, perhaps more horribly, it is shot at 60p instead of the 24p of the original which completely kills the cinematic feel that our brains have been trained to cue into since forever. That final shot of him walking towards

This wasn’t a USDM trim piece. This was on ALL 911’s of the era. For an automotive site, this is such a blatant “talking about something you know nothing about” moment. I mean... the car in the photo is a EURO SPEC 911 TURBO!!! What you should be complaining about is the oversized bumperettes that the USDM cars had.
