My 2 cents: Part of this is seasonal. Prices have softened a bit, but my view is that the entire vintage car market is a little soft right now. Come next spring, they’ll go back up. Not to the crazy levels, but they will. Unless the economy takes a slide again... then everything is f***ed.

My only argument is that Fury Road should be at the top of the list. Most of the sets were in or on cars. A bulk of the art direction was centered around cars. You could perhaps say that the cars themselves were characters. The action was based around cars. And the ultimate point was that it was (for the most part)…
Just search “pulled over Beverly Hills” on YouTube. The BHPD treat any car with pinstripes on Rodeo or the surrounding streets as illegally modified and issue tickets. Even exotics. I’m surprised Edd wasn’t arrested TBH.
