You could probably build something close for around $100-125K. The major difference would be when you get within 10 feet of it. You can go over a Singer with a damn microscope and be astounded by the details. When you start getting into the fine details, that’s where the slippery-slope gets VERY steep.

You know nothing, Chris11LE.

You might want to double check they guy’s name. The police report says “Wayne”, but there conflicting information that his middle name is Dwayne. If so, he’s a commercial pilot.

I have never eaten a Dodger Dog, but I reckon a more accurate descriptor may be “delicious.”

Try 1983! That’s straight up 1983 Mustang GT. Look at the hood.

Stanced Saab?

For fuck’s sake, just hand the show over to Chris Harris already. I mean, it’s just SO obvious!

I was thinking the same. Can’t believe they tried to pull that off in the infield.

I’ve done multiple hard launched in a Model S P90D in Ludicrous mode, and nothing noticeable happened regarding the battery capacity or heat.

Thank you for saying so.

Thanks much!

Thanks so much for posting this!

This sums up how appealing I find Chris Evans...

COTD?

I have no idea how Chris Evans is regarded in the UK, but I find him extremely... well... this is how he makes me feel.

I could not agree more. And my first car was an ‘83 Mustang GT. My second an ‘84 Anniversary GT350. Both kind of shit cars in hindsight. But oh do I have a soft spot for 4-eyed Fox Body Mustangs and late 70's Trans Ams.

I realize that my 3 favorite are, at the core, pretty shit cars. But they just look so cool, and remind me of the era in which the Indy 500 really was a culturally important event.

Now playing

The 1981 Indy 500 was sort of a mess until even after the race. The ending controversy was an additional grey cloud.

I remember watching this as a wee tyke. Still gives me chills.

Seems fairly obvious how he did that...
