Serious question - why does the MLS care how the stadium gets funding and not just that it does? If I’m a ba-jillionaire and say I want a team and want to build my own stuff, why would public financing sway MLS towards that location vs what I want to do? Because even though he’s an insufferable prick, he seems to be a great (regular season) coach. His firings always seem to come (to the best of my knowledge) because his teams get high seeds in the playoffs, and then get upset by a lesser team.

He was unbelievably skilled, and that benefited him when people would fight and then you had 4-v-4 hockey for 5 minutes at a time. In addition to the goalie thing. He’d still be the Great One but not put up the numbers he did if he played now.

I hear you - I’ll cook a pork butt or roast beef (then slice it up) in the smoker on a saturday or sunday and then eat it literally every day at work for lunch and some for dinners during the week. My wife says, “I don’t know how you can do that. Eat the same thing all week.”

haha - of course. I figure if that’s the only thing that I’m worried about, I’ve got it pretty good. I’ve worked in production, and then in public accounting, so efficiency and not being wasteful with resources and time is ingrained in me. So part of me wants to mellow out. We do decent, and it’s not blowing budgets…

No - not at all. I’m a finicky eater and so I end up fending for myself often. In which case I always make extra and take lunch the net day as discussed (it’s helpful that there aren’t many places around where I work). but she ends up tossing the stuff she makes all too often.
