I see their point though. Especially when you're in character as someone like Joker there still has to be a disconnect. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by that first part. Rigid consistency?

Green Mile, Shawshank, and Carrie. And Stand By Me and Misery and Dolores Claiborne.
Nice. I hadn't even considered them but that does make sense. Is the retreat they've been talking about in Sioux Falls?
I loved the way they both seemed to authentically enjoy the stand off. Dodd is an old school type and invites confrontation, and Lou almost came off like he was excited to poke the bear…s brother.
I was wondering why an apparent major crime organization would go after some family running operations in Fargo. Or is Fargo a much larger city than I'm picturing?
Who is also shown eating a lot, if I'm remembering correctly.
Either that or Bear's son takes over and the Gerhardts ARE the major syndicate in season 1. So many things this season could go so many ways that virtually anything people noticed from the first season doesn't hold any bearing. Except that whatever Lou saw was brutal.
I think it's Mike, but not that he's "the new Malvo." Just that Lou sees the same type of gleeful evilness in them.
I think that maybe both moms are dead for different reasons. Don't know about Dodd, but maybe Bear killed his wife for cheating since his son looks way more like the Indian guy than him.
Nice character moment that Lou was smart enough to keep his gun pointed at the one guy who wasn't pointing one back at him.
I'm a little mixed up on the geography. I know Lou is in Luverne but where is the crime family and has anything happened in Sioux Falls yet?
Just a guess, but I don't think we've gotten to the things old Lou was referring to. Also, he only knows of 3 bodies at this point I think.
Me thinks some shit is gonna hit the fan on that retreat..
Those dolls scared the shit out of me when I was little and I think the reason I don't recall the last segment is because I never got passed it.
Him being dead is my opinion, but those were things that happened.
Kind of a spoiler but in the previews before the show aired there is a scene with Dodd having his nephew beat the shit out of some guy in a donut shop so I feel like he's surely going to have a larger role in the family here shortly.
Can't Get Right may be my favorite character after that whole scene.
And he's got 4 daughters and I think we've only met one but yeah, yikes.
Well they showed it almost up to his neck and then his tie sticking out. Pretty sure he's super dead.
Dodd's daughter's reaction to his abuse was as off putting as anything I've seen this season.
