I know a little about water. Not alot, but enough for my job. What I couldn’t figure out is how these micro-organisms were getting back into the tap water after it had been processed. A damaged pipe, a dirty fauchet etc is the logical answer. Or that the water treatment center was not using enough processes to kill…

well, the overwhelming comments here seem to say “you’re an idiot for not reading the instructions”, so yeah, you should apparently know that you need to boil that water before letting your kids into the tub!

yes, but it takes a lot of force to get the water far up enough where the amoeba can get out and do damage.  Splashing in a bathtub is fine, cannonballing in the lake not so much.

Well this is a bit disconcerting.

I am pro life, but the “illegal alien” term is just as biased as the “undocumented worker” term. It sounds more ominous than pretty much any adjective I can think of including “pedophile child murderer” and it’s evident someone made the term incredibly ominous sounding for a reason, a political one.
