I don’t even drive a BMW, but this nonsense is getting old. I have many friends that drive BMWs and have had no trouble at all. I prefer Audi purely because of the Quattro and looks, but I would have been fine buying a BMW if I just preferred the looks more.

There’s one enormous issue with them hacking in through the UConnect system: The WiFi isn’t enabled if the car isn’t on. They can’t just walk up and hack into the thing, because the connections would be disabled.

Ya...I haven’t valeted my car in years. I’ll hit the valet stand, drop off the date, and ask the valet where I should park my car. I’ll still give the guy a few $ so they’re not at least losing the tip from it, but no chance they’re driving my car or holding my fob.

Now they’re the same size as other table saws, and the module needing to be replaced only costs $60. That’s totally worth it.

This. I live in Cleveland and work in a fairly affluent suburb. When we go out to lunch to the outdoor mall, there are at least 10-15 supercars driving around. Almost daily there are at least a few Maseratis, a few Ferraris, an ungodly number of high-end Porsches (including a few Carrera GTs), and the occasional Lambo.

Right...but why? What data could they sell that Google can’t sell for far cheaper? Google tracks every location you’ve ever been to with a phone in your hand. Don’t believe me? Go to Google Maps, open the menu, and click on My Timeline. Pick any day you want, and it’ll tell you exactly where you’ve gone, down to the

Nice job reading the article. It says millions of motorists still lock their keys in the car, despite Advanced Key becoming more prominent. It doesn’t say millions of people with Advanced Keys are locking their keys in the car...in fact it doesn’t even say that it’s happened even once.

Actually they have. U2 played an impromptu concert in NYC before and a far bigger crowd gathered in exactly the same way. They started playing on the back of a flatbed truck and it drove them around the city and stopped under the bridge. People were just parking their cars in the middle of the street and running over

Pretty much the opposite of what you just said: If someone is claiming to have bombs all over the place you absolutely *have* to take him/her alive. Do you even remotely understand how hard it is to locate bombs when you have no idea where they could be? Or if they’re capable of remote detonation? Or timed detonation?

The key should be “Personalize”, not “Personalized”. It won’t work with the latter.

Not entirely accurate. I live in Ohio, where the map seems to imply all sales are banned. That’s not true. In fact, fireworks are totally legal to buy, but illegal to use. They make you agree, when purchasing, that you won’t set them off in Ohio.

Interesting...because a quick search shows pretty nice places for rent in downtown San Francisco for $2,300 or less, per month. For a household bringing in close to $200k/yr, that’s an amazing price. Nobody says you should be able to buy a house...people in cities like that don’t own houses unless they’re willing to

I suffer from absolutely no allergies, whatsoever, but I would stand up and make sure the people clapping understood what uncaring and ridiculous human beings they are. Absolutely disgusting that people think it’s acceptable to act that way.

Err...Engineers are the only ones that would have been capable to create the Volkswagen scandle, since non-engineers wouldn’t have had the ability to reprogram and entire ECU to fulfill those emissions changes. It might have been done at the behest or strong request of superiors, but it’s still that employees fault

There’s one single use that this is a must for: The car.

This. The fastest way to remove ice and snow from a car is never letting it gather. It’s a wonderful feeling to just start up the car in the morning and go.

A prosperous terror free America has absolutely nothing to do with shutting down the internet, in any capacity, since that removes freedoms. A prosperous terror free America has nothing to do with removing illegal aliens from Mexico. A prosperous terror free America has nothing to do with going full-tilt into a war

They don’t have to participate. They can ignore everything the Europeans do and go on with their day. If people that don’t believe in my system of theology want to wear ‘sacred garb’, who cares? People wear crosses all over the planet, irrelevant of their beliefs or daily practices. Not once have I gotten upset and

Dang...not bad at all. Just recently bought an Audi S4 for around $55k after everything (got a huge discount). Don’t get me wrong...I’m still glad I have the Quattro system, but this thing looks like a crazy amount of fun.

I lock my luggage, but I also don’t check it. For me it’s just to make sure random idiots on the plane don’t try to sneak up and get into my bag.
