Most bank vault doors are made by security companies, so just about any major security company will have more information:

ha thanks for the props all. Ya it would be brilliant to hook up escalators to some kind of generator. In the very least it could be used to power the *other* escalator! =P

You know what the chances are of that? lol they usually ship the vault doors straight from the factory and just bolt it in to the vault.

Phone. I've had the account for awhile but I've changed devices twice without changing the plan.

Or it's people that would actually *use* those things...I don't use SD cards but a lot of people do. A vast number of cameras use SD cards and it would be a huge blessing to have a port right on the iPad so you don't have to carry around that dongle. Add a USB port and suddenly you can connect your own keyboard or any

Starting to agree. The blog stuff doesn't bother me nearly as much as the way the website works...or doesn't. At least there still *are* gizmo/tech reviews on the site, but the site barely works! 1/3 of the time when clicking on an article in the feed on the right it doesn't fully load the page, or even start, and you

Let's say there are 40 people on an escalator at a time (for a big escalator like that it's probably an understatement). Average weight, let's say 170lbs. That's 6800lbs weighing down the escalator belt. Without brakes to stop it that weight pulls the escalator down, making it go faster. As more people step on it'll

Yes, the mother was an idiot and completely at fault for letting her baby walk into the vault...but what kind of vault is it that an everyday Locksmith can open?! Police and Firefighters couldn't get in, but a locksmith uses a Craftsman and boom the vault opens right up? what?

Exactly what I was thinking of when reading this...if this guy's going to jail why didn't Chappelle Show get in trouble? Not that I think they should...Dave Chappelle is awesome.

Absolutely doesn't apply to everyone...I was told I could *renew* my unlimited plan (long story - I had it on my iPhone4 but when I put my account under military suspension for a deployment I couldn't get it back. When I pre-ordered my Atrix they asked if I wanted to get my Unlimited plan back for the same $30 it was

Absolutely. I have no plans to get the Webtop cradles but I already preordered the phone. It's the highest-spec phone on the market and it's *insanely* quick.

It does, but in order to use Tethering you have to change to the tethering plan (which removes your unlimited plan).

Don't you think if people were going to make the Matrix jokes they would have far before now? The phone's about to release after being announced like a month and change ago? You'd think the Matrix jokes would have gone out by now...

I can't wait. Pre-ordered it beginning of this week and wanting to replace my iPhone4 with it. OrderStatus page still doesn't show it shipping yet but guessing to arrive here by Monday they'll ship it Friday or Saturday (free 2-day shipping on pre-orders). If not I guess I'll get it Wednesday. Pretty excited

The thing that *STILL* bothers me about the Android Twitter app is that it has no in-app browsing. If you click on a link it has to open the browser to navigate to the page. On iPhone and iPad it opens IN THE APP which saves a lot of time.

That won't happen...not even minutes work that way. When you buy prepaid minutes they expire after a certain amount of time (with AT&T it depends on how many minutes you buy at a time).

Unbelievable that they've re-labeled the T2i as the T3i by simply changing the LCD. Reminiscent of the 1Dn-series (the only difference was a higher-quality LCD on the back and it sold for around $1000 more). This is Canon taking advantage of the low end of photography crowd...and it's sad.

@HeroOfTomorrow is lonely: *Neither* is made for tablets...and you may have owned an iPad but I've owned *BOTH* devices (the iPad I had for around 7 months and the Galaxy Tab I've had since launch) and can easily say I enjoy using my Galaxy Tab more than I did my iPad. Why? Because I don't always have a backpack with

@AJ: They're fantastic. Having owned an iPad I can say the Galaxy Tab is a *much* better device. The size is perfect, it's quick enough to perform all the functions I do with a tablet, and Android works much better for this type of application than iOS.

@Denver is too damn high: lol not at *all* what you're supposed to do with a grenade. The explosive kinetic energy builds exponentially the smaller area it's given to expand. That means if you cover it up the explosion actually is much worse. You want to get it out into the open and away from people. Fragmentation
