I couldn't help but think that the seemingly disjunct prologue in East Germany was like the prologue in the beginning of the Coen's "A Serious Man"… especially since Stuhlbarg and Melamed are in the cast for this season.
Like some kind of Talmudic commentary on the story to be

"Total situational awareness, Lana."

I'll be bummed if Elsie ends up dead. It seems important to have a non-villain woman character engineer/programmer who has some dimension. We need more of that. And this show is supposed to be set in the future where that should be more commonplace.

Nice. Fireside Bowl reference?

This episode was almost as bad as the Terry's Funeral episode. Pam's sass notwithstanding.
