I read it, and it was a good article, but I just don't find it to be that big of an issue for this show. Maybe for a show like the 100, but for POI, the last thing that I ever think about are the romantic entaglements of the characters. I thought the death was handled perfectly.

Exactly, I just don't think it is a big deal for this show, just another thing to nitpik for people who have nothing else in their lives to do but nitpik. I thought both Carter's death and Root's were fantasticly well done, and respected the very essence of the characters. At the end of the day, that is all that

People using Root's death to complain about some trope that apparently exists just don't understand what this show is about. It's never been a show to focus on romantic relationships. We have had small doses of Reese and Jessica, Finch and Grace, and now Shaw and Root. This show just isn't about that stuff. This

Good catch. Two tonally different shows, but both equally epic and very well done. Can't wait for season 2, and really can't wait to see what the next 3 weeks have in store for us.

You can blame CBS for that!! There is a great buzzfeed article that details what Nolan and Plageman felt about this season, and CBS insistence that they do the numbers stories.

I was very Ben Linus-y, and I loved it.

Utopia was a very dark show. Even though it kind of lost it's way in season 2, season 1 was very disturbing. Kind of a conspiracy theorist wet dream of a show. Torchwood I think did something with vaccines and a culling.
I really liked this episode, and I am sad to see there are only 5 more eps. One of my

I have a feeling that next ep we will see Fusco and Elias finally being told the truth.

I loved all three episodes this week. The wedding episode, while a very thin plot, was so much fun. Finch singing had me rolling. QSO and Reassortment were both very interesting, and I hope Shaw doesn't still think she is in a simulation when she gets back to NY. I have a feeling she is going to still be pretty

You get a thumbs up for a Beerfest refference!!!!
Great start to what should be an incredible season.

Ahahahahahaha, That one was good. She is like the White Female Carlos Mencia. She is a shit comedian also.

I had to sit with my wife last night and watch this, and surprisingly, it wasn't half bad. A lot like her husbands Streets is Watching "music movie album", which besides reasonable doubt, is the only thing in Jay Z's discography I can listen to. Not a Beyonce fan, I think most of her music and "acting" is a hot

Of course. Aesop doesn't have an album littered with r&b features, overproduced synthesized beats, and shitty lyrics, so it's probably not AV club material. New Aesop and J Zone are both really dope.

How do such shitty rappers get so much love on this site. This album was front to back commercial crap. I think AV Club should stick to pop and avoid reviewing rap all together. This album is a 5 out 10 at best. J-zone released a dope album as he always does and no review for that, but hey Kanye, and Pusha T or

Rick and Morty may be a plastic concept, but it is executed so damn well. One of the funniest shows on tv.

Master p and mc hammer were very popular at the time they came out. Hammer was pretty much the drake of the late 80's early 90's, basically a pop musician, and I got no beef with drake as a pop artist. The fact that he gets any love as an mc is what I find a joke. Master p had plenty of competition in his hey day.

Rap in general has become pretty embarrassing to listen to. For every Run The Jewels, there are 10 Drake's. I never liked Kanye, thought his beats were poor man's Rza, Premier, Pete Rock, and his lyrics and voice are annoying as hell, but yet he is somehow the be all end all. Rap is wack now. All of these popular

That is exactly the reason mainstream rap is garbage. Future is beyond wack. All time great tier run of tapes and albums-hahahahaha, that is funny.

No doubt, this is the show I watch on the IPad while I'm playing Fifa.

I agree JoshK31. That has been my biggest beef with the show. I don't want to be here in WD season 12 and they have finally made it DC only to come across another pyscho douche to kill. I think I am probably done with the show now, as it seems this thing can go on forever with no ending in sight.
